There is a hidden history of women's power, independence and sexuality. Without this knowledge women are only half-known to the world and to themselves.
We have forgotten that women's blood was our first religion, and that from earliest times women have had control of their fertility. We have forgotten that women's sexuality was a source of tribute, not shame. In our rush to Paradise, we have forgotten the value of the Underworld.
